Wednesday 08/20, there is a meeting for the Parents of Fall Sports Athletes. This will be at the Moriarty High School Performing Arts Center (PAC) at 6 pm. This is a mandatory meeting for parents. Meet your fall sports coaches!
Last note is that MMS is starting the beginning of year (BOY) state assessment. Students will be assessed in Reading, Language Usage and Math. This test helps us to identify where our students are at in these contents and will allow us to identify what each student needs from the instructional staff so that we can provide them with the best learning opportunities that we can. Waterline Break! Happy Friday everyone! The high school experienced a broken water line and that has interrupted water to MMS as well. The water is currently off at MMS. We will update and hope that the water is back on soon!

First Day back at MMS! Good morning everyone, we've got all our MMS students in classes and going! We look forward to a great year and it's awesome to hear our students back in our halls. Some 7th and 8th Graders were incorrectly marked absent yesterday, we will fix it! Have a great day!

Center Ave in front of MMS was recently re-paved and is currently closed. You can access MMS by parking in the lot of the gym or in the east parking lot if you're coming from the east but Center Ave is closed directly in front of MMS. We're here from 8-3 today and tomorrow! Don't let this deter you! Come tour the building if you're new to the MMS community. Ms. Sommer our registrar will be set up at the front of the building and get you going in the right direction. We're excited to see everyone!

If you have not yet registered your child for this school year please check your email for the link and snap code. These have been sent to all students families. MMS: Hi everyone! Just some reminders about this week. Wednesday 5/21 is 8th Grade Promotion at 10 am at the MHS Performing Arts Center. We will walk our 8th Graders over at 8:45 so please have them here to accommodate that or they can be brought to the PAC at 9 am. We will conduct a quick walkthrough and then celebrate them with their Promotion to MHS! Thursday 5/22 at 9:30 AM we will have the 6th and 7th Grade Awards ceremony in the MMS Gym. We will also have our MMS Field Day Thursday 5/22. Friday, 5/23 is the final day for students! Just a reminder that Wednesday, 5/21 is NOT an early release Wednesday. Students will dismiss at 3:13 as usual. Students may be signed out from Promotion and the Awards Ceremony. Ms. Sarah and Ms. Sommer will be in the lobby of the PAC for 8th Grade signouts on Wednesday and in the MMS office for 6th and 7th grade signouts on Thursday. We can't wait to celebrate and promote all of our MMS students and we hope to see you there!
MMS: Happy Friday everyone! Families next week is the last week! Encourage your students to get any missing work submitted! Monday 5/19 we have 7th and 8th grade field trips. Wednesday 5/21 is 8th grade promotion at 10 am. Remember the eligibility criteria, no more than 1 F on Quarter 4 Grades! Again, get the missing work submitted! Thursday 5/22 at 9:30 am is the 6th and 7th grade awards ceremony. After that will be the MMS Field/Fun Day. We have a dunk tank, watermelon eating contests, water balloons and more! Friday May 23rd is the last day for students. Thanks everyone. Have a great weekend and we hope to see you all next week!

May 21st, 8th Grade Promotion at 10 am at MHS PAC. May 22nd, 6th and 7th Grade Academic Awards Ceremony at 9:30 am in the MMS gym. May 22nd is the MMS Field/Fun Day. May 23rd is the last day for students. Our time is short but we would love to see as many of our families attend these events as possible! Thanks everyone!
MMS: Please talk with your student about caring for their Chromebooks. Students and families are responsible for the safety and care of Chromebooks. Broken, lost , or stolen Chromebooks will cost $200. Please keep them in good shape and take care of them. Lost or stolen Chargers cost $25. We just want to echo the sentiments from MHS. There is currently a movement on Tik Tok where students are intentionally destroying their chromebooks by placing graphite into ports and causing the chromebooks to begin smoking and melting down. Students will be held financially responsible for the well being of their chromebooks. This also relates to chipping of keys and other means of intentionally destroying components of these devices. We have seen a rise in damage to our devices in the last few days. Thanks for your attention to this matter
